Story behind this product: These small red & black seeds, “Huayruro,” are collected once per year on the jungle floor to bring good luck, prosperity and protection for those who adorn themselves and/or their living spaces with them.

This unique piece is shared with you now in an effort to empower both those who will love and wear it and the talented, kind-hearted Amazonian artisans (predominantly mothers) who made it via the support that this purchase provides for their families and communities. Artisan craft or “artesanías” is a powerful alternative to dependency on logging, mining, trafficking and slash and burn agriculture therefore helping protect the rainforests for all other life on earth.
