A virtual panel on fashion and sustainability during the pandemic & beyond

Count down with us to the event!

Fashion for Conservation (FFC) is excited to present our first ever virtual panel on September 30, 2020 at noon PST. In these trying times as we face the likes of a global pandemic, social isolation, natural disasters, and racial unrest, we will come together to take a deep breath and think about how our personal choices affect this new world that we live in.

The panel will feature an array of topics around sustainability and fashion, and how our new circumstances define our conscious choices as consumers. Our panelists are fashion industry experts and sustainability champions, who will highlight the changes we can make in our shopping behaviors and guide us on how to dress fashionably while reducing our footprint on Mother earth.

Join us virtually, on Zoom. 12pm-1pm PST / 3PM-4PM EST.

    Meeting ID: 827 0526 0181

    Panelists:

Ava J. Holmes: FFC Co-founder Ava J. Holmes is currently stationed in Peru, writing her memoir. She has traveled around the world as a conservation advocate, fashion producer, TedX speaker, entrepreneur, and speech coach.

Elle L:  FFC Ambassador, musician, influencer, and advisor to the UN for sustainable fashion and media, Elle L helped raise over a million pounds last year by supporting conservation themed fundraisers in London.

Rene Garza: NYC based, ethical-use designer and celebrity stylist Rene Garza has styled celebrities like Beyonce and Alicia Keys, and is a contributor to fashion publications like Elle and Harper’s Bazaar. He currently works for the non-profit Magpies and Peacocks that disrupts the cycle of waste in the fashion industry.

    See you there!
